M.Phil on Oceanographic Studies & Coastal Management
(2 years well-designed regular course with support from INCOIS and IIRS)

M.Phil Course in  Oceanography & Coastal Management

                                                                                        
Eligibility: Masters degree in Sciences/Computer Application or Geography with 60% marks in mathematics  at least  in +2 level, BE/B.Tech
Course Fee: Rs. 20,000/-  per semester.

Application forms can be obtained  from 5th July   to 23rd.July,  2010   either from the  University Information Counter (11am to 4pm on week days) on cash payment of Rs.250/- or by downloading from the website : www.jadavpur.edu which should be accompanied by Demand Draft of Rs.250 /-  drawn in favour of the ‘Registrar, Jadavpur University’ at the time of submission

The last date of submission of duly filled in application forms at the University Information Counter is July 23rd.2010.

Application forms sent by post will not be accepted.
Reservation of seats under SC/ST/PD quota will be followed as per rules.
Full free and half free studentship may be granted to the deserving students  fulfilling the eligibility requirements.

Admission Test  :  Total Marks 100 : Subject 30 + Oceanography 30 (Please Consult the Pocket Book ‘Sagar’ by National institute of Oceanography downloadable from www.nio.org )  + Scientific Aptitude 20+English Comprehension 20.
