M.Phil Course in Oceanography & Coastal Management
Eligibility: Masters degree in Sciences/Computer Application / Geography with mathematics at least in +2 level, BE/B.Tech
Course Fee: Rs. 20,000/- per semester.
Application forms can be obtained either from the University Information Counter (11am to 4pm on week days) on cash payment of Rs.250/- or by downloading from the website: www.jadavpur.edu which should be accompanied by Demand Draft of Rs.250 /- drawn in favour of the ‘Registrar, Jadavpur University’ at the time of submission.
The last date of submission of duly filled in application forms at the University Information Counter would be informed shortly.
Application forms sent by post will not be accepted.
Reservation of seats under SC/ST/PD quota will be followed as per rules.
Full free and half free studentship may be granted to the deserving students fulfilling the eligibility requirements.
Admission Test : Total Marks 100 : Subject 30 + Oceanography 30 (Please Consult the Pocket Book ‘Sagar’ by National institute of Oceanography downloadable fromwww.nio.org ) + Scientific Aptitude 20+English Comprehension 20.
